I never believed in "anti-aging" until I've used this creamI never believed in "anti-aging" until I have used this moisturizer for three months. The results are really fantastic. However, along the journey I there was a time when this product literally ruined my skin. You have to be really CAREFUL with it. Forget about the name, this is not a benign ceramide cream. It contains a hefty dose of vitamin C (2nd ingredient) and retinol (0.1%). The first few days I have generously slathered this cream after my usual AHA/BHA application including the entire eye area. In less than a week, I had a very bad "retinol burn": my skin was raw, eyes swollen, moisture barrier ruined. I looked and felt awful, my skin literally hurt. At that point, I could have returned the product and written the worst review ever. It took me over a week to get my skin back to a reasonable state. Once my skin healed, I went back to using this ceramide moisturizer. I started applying a pea sized amount after cleansing in the evening, no AHA or BHA, not too close to the eye area, and followed with a non-retinol moisturizer ( Omega+ Serum and/or Moisture Boost) as needed. This time I had no negative reaction, only wonderful results. After several weeks, my skin was transformed. My skin texture changed, it was considerably smoother. As a result, light bounced of the smooth surface and my skin gained radiance. I am in my early forties, and was constantly looking for highlighters to give me back the lost radiance. Not anymore. After a few more weeks of use, my nasolabial folds and frown lines are much less apparent, my skin definitely looks and feels firmer. I had two friends ask me if I did something to my face. I could not be happier with the results. I was already taking good care of my skin before using this product and my skin was in a very good condition (thank you Paula). This moisturizer took it literally to the next level. I have already purchased a back up bottle and will continue to use this product as long as Paula's Choice makes it.----- By IE
Amazing!I rarely write reviews but I had to write one about this product. After only a few weeks of use, I noticed some of my fine lines were distinctly diminished. Mostly lines around my mouth and around my eyes. I thought this was incredible! I really believe my skin is firmer, which is my number one concern. This is one of the products, along with exfoliants and vitamin C serum, that is a must-have for me. Please don't ever discontinue this product!----- By Melinda
All-Time FavoriteI've been using PC products since the very beginning of the brand. I like to try new products as they are introduced. I don't always notice a big difference in my skin because it's already in good condition from using great products. This ceramide moisturizer did make a noticeable difference in my skin- smoother and healthier-looking from the first night I used it. It's become one of my all-time favorite products. I'd been using Resist Barrier Repair moisturizer, which is good but I like this even better. I suspect people who give this product negative reviews must be sensitive to the retinol or some other ingredient. No product works perfectly for everyone. Amazing results: plumper, smoother & firmer skin!!it wasn't as rich and creamy as I expected, but after using it for only a couple of weeks - I am totally hooked! I absolutely love it! Absolutely works for meI have just finished my first bottle, and am reordering on the site now. I am 55 years old. I went most of my life without using spf on my face, I have deep crows feet/smile lines at my eyes and mid-cheek, and around my mouth. I have "aging" skin showing fine lines and wrinkles due to sun damage.....yet...I have oily skin. However, people often think I'm 10-15 years younger than I am. I use "all" of the Paula's Choice products that are appropriate for my skin type. This product talks about "skin firming collagen" and LITERALLY, my skin is noticeably firmer. I use it morning and night, I noticed firmer "looking" skin the first day I used it, and with daily use for the duration of the bottle (didn't pay attention to how many days), my skin is actually firmer, brighter and with more even skin tone. I already use many of the boosters, but the firming was noticeable with the addition of the Ceramide moisturizer. Fabulous products.
